I can't deny seeing improvements being made. but compared to improvements or deteriorations made in other aspects, can't help but wishing black-and-white matters as such, politically correct matters as such, popular matters as such, could receive more attention and assistance. even if not on a scale proportional to their significance, at least at a more even pace compared to other aspects.

I also admit liking Japanese products, and find them comfortable to be with as long race is not involved. I wish I don't have the grudge from history to impose such abstinence on myself. But a standing is a standing. Sometimes, we have to draw a line and take a stand.

whatever the strategy the hoarding of US paper aims for, it fails to cut through the clutter and realize that education and welfare for its citizens are what makes a country strong. and the status of a debtor could hardly be a trump card in a tramp's hand.
