however, I don't think wars should be counted by numbers. say you wouldn't count mopeds side by side with Hummers, would you?
and they are subtle differences which have quite interesting and profound impacts on individuals.
can't find the article read days ago, a review of a book written on income growth and gaps under democratic and republican presidents. income growth for the rich is the same under democratic or republican presidents (perhaps even better under democrats), but income growth for the poor just dropped its bottom under republican presidents.
