梦姐有志,一同走出“沼泽地”,定是喜事。送上小照一张:green anole (or called American Anole)
April 2007, Nikon D70, Nikkor 105 mm f2.8 Micro
Here is the note I wrote that day after got home:At the time I was shooting a macro on a tiny green spider on a lily flower by a pond, I heard some noise around
and noticed this green anole. It was about 3 inches long. I pulled off the camera from my tripod and set up the
autofocusing and spot metering (usually I used manual focusing for macro)... I followed this guy for sometime and
shooting a dozen of it until it disappeared.Handholding the lens, I decided to only focus on its eye. And every time when I found I locked its eye I pressed
the shutter release. After I got home opened the picture, I was both happy and sad; the sharp eye just jumpped
out of picture but the fuzzy/blurred leaves in the background have the halo-like outlines... I still don't
know how the lens can lock one point, i.e. the eye, while lost the lock on leaves.PS processing: contrast adjusting and cropping; slightly sharpening.
