When do you plan to visit White Sand? You will be roasted in New Mexico now. :-))) For two days in NM, you can visit White Sand National Momument, Carlsbad Cavern National Park, and Salinas Pueblo Missions National Momument in the southern part of NM. Or you can visit northern part: Bandelier NM, Petrogluph NM, Taos and Santa Fe. Sceneries around Taos are very nice. If the timing is right, Bosque del Apache NWR ( about 30 miles south of Albuquerque) is a famous place to watch migrating birds. Fall and winter are best time to go. There will be thousands of sandhill cranes and snow geese along with other birds. Let me know if you have more questions. I would love to know if you do go there!
