Hello, my friends:

It was a great evening gathering on 4/14 with the delegation from Jilin
University. We had 16 people in the party including our guests. It was
very warm and cozy party with a wonderful selection of foods and beers.
在那四月的十四晚上，那可是一个大早的傍晚，有一群年轻的老人，
膀着JI大的代表，整了一个巨大的小会。我们有16个人在和我们的客人
啪拖。舒适的啪拖伴着好吃好喝，倒也很温暖。
We talked about the recent development of our University, specially, after
the merger of the five schools. Many of us suggested ideas how to builda
strong bond between our oversea alumni association with Jilin University
andhow we can contribute and help to the future success of the new Ji-Da.
我们谈到了大学的发展，特别谈到了吞并 5所学校后，我们许多有
关海龟们的建议，如何在强化 JI 大和海外笑友之间，为了新JI大将来
杀个啥死(SUCCESS)做出我们的海鸥脯(HELP)。
For me it was a wonderful opportunity to meet many new friends. But I was
amazed to see many of your have a chance to meet old friends from far away
after as many as 26 years.
这是一个千载难逢的机会结识各类新的玩伴。更有让人堂目结舌的
事发生，很多人竟然还抓住时机同远方的，26年前的老玩伴幽会。
In our walk of live, once again, our path cross each other at high light
during that evening.
啊，在那个夜晚的高光里，我们又一次活着闯入了相互的怀抱。
I certainly want to thank for the people who came to the party. I also want
to express my great appreciation for the people who helped to organize this
party including the ones who could not come to the party.
在此我要特别感谢那些来啪拖的人，我也要加快我的巨大情意，
为那些海鸥脯得(HELPED)之组织这个啪拖包括一次没能赶来的啪拖者。
Special thanks to Gu Xin-Ying, Men Ying-Hua for coordinating the event and
distributing message through our Web and email list; Sun, Liang for
providing transportation and entertaining for our guest; Li Xing for the
wonderful selection of beers ( good taste! ).
