One of my friends told me that once his daughter did not follow the teacher's instruction during practicing, he started educating his daughter, "When I was little my parents couldn't afford the piano, I did not have an opportunity to learn how to play although I really wanted to. Look at you now, you have your own piano but you do not practice hard enough...". Having heard about this too many times, the little girl cut her father's talk and said "You were lucky that you did not have a piano to play".
