With all due respect, I found your comments on
Christianity in general and on Jesus in particular
unjustly too harsh. I am no Christian and with no
interest to be defensive, but I do feel, with
regard to the long history of this religion and its
vast influences on the behaviors of mankind, your
words such as "the Bible just does not make any sense",
or "Jenus is the biggest deceiver", revealed more of
your lack of understanding rather than arguments of
unbiased reasoning.
That being said, however, by and large, I appreciate
your participation of the disscussion, for it is not
only interesting but useful for deepening our
understanding of the life, culture, and society we
have adopted as home.
I hope you would learn more about the fact that
Jesus is perhaps the single most important figure ever
walking on earth, and why.
Since everyone seems to be taking a great deal of
weight for what Einstein has to say, here is what he
once said:
"Humanity has every reason to place the proclaimers
of high moral standards and values above the discoverers
of objective truth. What humanity owes to personalities
like Buddha, Moses, and Jesus ranks for me higher than
all the achievements of the enquiring and constructive mind."
Should we be at least a little bit more humble than this
greatest scientist?
