Only three days to go for having the bright and prosperous New Year
2003! Happy new year to all of you!
Lala is ready for the new year. Our Winter semester will start on January
6, 2003. It is time for him to prepare the lecture notes for those courses
he will teach. His hard work has been paid off by the merit increment
committee at his University on December 20 by recommending that he receives a
merit increment of $1000 effective July 1, 2002 by a vote of 7 to 0! The comments made by the seven committee members are
1. Good performance.
2. Excellent record.
3. Very productive research.
4. Excellent researcher! One of the best at ....
5. Very strong in research. Keep your good work.
6. Comfortably meets the criteria for merit increment.
7. Excellent research record, peer-reviewed publications and training
HQP.
