Robert Burns 是苏格兰诗人，他虽然没有到过我所在的这个城市，可是他写过一首诗赞美这个城市（好像是有个侄子不远万里来到这里），我们这个城市最早是苏格兰移民开发的，所以到现在还有很多那个时代的建筑，很多街名也跟爱丁堡的一样，我们文学院的那个大楼就叫 “Burns Building”……
Burns（彭斯）最著名的诗，或者说最广为流传大概是《我心在高原》了。我也非常喜欢这首诗，读了这首诗，医疗、保险、看病、修路、登月、……就都是浮云廖……
