I understand now why you have a strong feeling about it. Professional writers do need to be more consistent and check their facts carefully. On the other hand, I still enjoy 金庸的武侠小说 even though I know some parts of the stories are inconsistent and do not stand up close scrutiny.
Have a wonderful weekend. I am travelling now but I will take my kids to watch the Golden Compass when I am back home tomorrow. Should be fun.
