Welcome aboard!

I’ve read your postings about Christianity. From what you have said,
I can see that you are a very good thinker, indeed. I also like your
style of writing: clear, logical, straightforward and calm. Here I
want to discuss one of the issues you have raised and I’ll post more
regarding the others if I have time. (That’s why I have labeled this
posting as Part 1:)

The issue is about the communication between man and God.

To summarize your argument: If God is perfect, he should treat all
people equally no matter what attitude they have toward God. As a
consequence, he will nor and should not be influenced by a low being
like human, therefore he will nor and should not give favor to anybody
who worship him. In this sense, the communication between Man and God
is a one-way channel, because even though man can offer his plea to
God, God will not answer (Correct me if I have misunderstood you).

I agree with you that God should treat all people equally. However,
this equality is manifested in the various natural and moral laws
created by God. The first kind of laws govern the nature without a
ny condition and is the subject of science, while the second kind
of laws applies to every human being, whoever you are. A law is a
law. It never changes. It is universal. No one is favored.

In Bible, many moral laws have promises from God as their consequences,
with the form:

IF you have done such and such, THEN God will promise such and such.

For example, one of the such moral laws from God is:

They that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that
have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Based on this law, if you have done good, you will please God and be
rewarded, or blessed by life; if you have done evil? damnation.

In a system like this, a man can influence God’s judgment on him by
what he has done, but not the law God uses to judge him.

Such a God is perfect, in the sense that he treats all human beings
equally under the laws; Such a God is perfect, in the sense that he
reward good human beings doing good and punish those evil.
