Seems to me that the report by Zheng Yi was and is still the only publically documented material about that savage act. I'd say by that alone the paper is a very valuable piece of journalism. I fail to observe the 'insincerity'you mentioned in his documentation and accusation.

Your real target appears to be at the 'repentance'(?) called for at the end of the report. That to me was simply a deep sigh of the author instead of the stretching you've made for him:-).
