Frist, excuse me about the English-Chinese writing stuff I said before. I didn't read your earlier post. It's a piece of pie to type in Chinese after a warm up period, AS FAR AS YOU KNOW Pin Yin. If you got a problem with Pin Yin (like one of my friends does), all I can say would be "have fun in learning course".....

During the first 0.5-1 year living in North America, I felt there wasn't a big difference between well educated western & eastern people. After more than 3 years living here, the difference becomes bigger & bigger. I don't know if it's going to return back to the pattern of smaller & smaller after another 3-5 years.

Language is deeply rooted in culture and philosophy.The differences between Chinese and Western language are not because of the usage or the language itself.

Have to rush off again. A nice weekend.
