I couldn't fully follow your second paragph, there might be something happened lately that I didn't know. I was in phys 78-5, yeah, kind of old now:-)); but that doesn't mean I wouldn't do crazy things:-). I don't know XiaoYaoZi and LaoWai personally, but in future whenever necessary I would try to help them understand your points better:-), how about that?
Like everywhere else, stepping on each other's toes once in a while is unavoidable. But that's not really such a big deal, if your purpose here is like mine -- to have a bit fun and to use Chinese (oops, excuse me for this time:-) to communicate to retain the culture ties among us -- those little unpleasants are just background noise compared to the huge joy we could all extract during course.
Oh boy, come on, it's not THAT bad:-)). 'Chongzi' is a decent man, and a man tallented in commanding languague expressions, and he is my classmate for 4 years (therefore I feel quite qualified to comment about him). Please don't worry, to Chongzi, this might be measured as a 'hiccup', far away from a 'disaster'.:-)) Keep enjoying the forum!
