I cannot surfer the net after I am off work. I do not have a computer in my apartment: all two computers were gone with my wife and kids. Sorry about it.
I do have some stories from my countryside years. Some of them shaped my way of looking at the world, specially the CCP. But, some how, I feel Jida site is not the proper place to talk about it. May be, when I got time, (when I “retire” in one month, I may have some time), I will write one or two for you, and send to you by email.
I went countryside for re-education was a mistake: I did not have a solid elementary education, I move around too much. Then, I was skipping grades when I reenter school. If I had a normal school year, I might miss the countryside event. However, theses two years did give me some unique ways to look at things. Theses kinds of accident do change one’s life. I am pretty sure, without these two years, I would have a different personality, I would have different teachers and friends. I would certainly marry different lady (I do not see how could I know her, if I have a different personality.) and have a different family.
I am pretty lucky: I have a good family, I have amassing teachers and wonderful friends. I only need openness, to enjoy, to listen, to observe and to learn from them. I think these two years gave me a positive result. They make me see things in a different angle.
My comments on your essays were just a outline. I do hope you point out the points you disagree with.
